Self Description	BREEDING SINCE 1999 Michael Creek is from Maryland and breeds Akitas. Palmyra Akitas is located on Palmyra Farm just south of Hagerstown, Maryland. We have had Akitas for the last 17 years, during this time we have had 5 Akitas, four females and our current male Hachi. Our love and respect for the breed has grown stronger with each individual that we have had the opportunity to share our life with. Lizzy and Hachi are our first breeding pair. Both of these dog have great temperament and win over everyone who meets them. Although we do not show dogs because of a busy schedule showing International winning cattle, we are very concerned about breeding correct confirmation and genetically superior Akitas, as we have with our Ayrshire cattle. The first litter from Lizzy and Hachi is everything we hoped they would be and were well received by our buyers. All the puppies in the first litter when to current or former Akita owners. We happy to have vistors and only ask that you let us know when you would like to come by. Unfortunately we will not be breeding Lizzy again as she suffered a rear leg injury. Hachi is available for Stud Service and we have facilities available to host and house breeding females. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
